The new Cat D7 dozer has enough power to “bust out” or cutting the grade. With a high drive undercarriage, the D7 is easy to maintain, keeping operating costs low and reducing downtime. With the D7, you harness 6% more weight and 12% more horsepower to move up to 8% more material per hour.

Features & Information

Emissions Technology. The Cat C9.3B Engine meets U.S. EPA Tier 4 Final/EU Stage V/Korea Tier 4 Final emission standards.
High Drive Performance. The elevated sprocket, high drive, undercarriage delivers a better ride and balance, plus improved penetration force for top dozing performance. This configuration moves the final drive out of the shock-load of the roller frame, reducing packing of material. This feature also means the operators can feel more of what is happening through the drive train.

Automatically Efficient. No need to shift. Just set your ground speed and go. The fully automatic 4-speed powershift transmission continuously selects the most productive, efficient gear and engine speed for the job.

Pipeline Industry Ready. Configured for pipeline work, the Cat D7 has enough weight that the winch attachment can be used to yo-yo, meaning to assist other machines up and down a sloped terrain. Get a better view of the blade and work being done with increased visibility from the cab. Better able to navigate areas where the larger dozer cannot because of weight, but with similar push and power.
