The Vanguard Combo Unit is a pipelayer attachment for Cat® D6N track type tractors. With the support of Caterpillar® and the engineering expertise of Vanguard Equipment Inc., this system includes winches, boom, mode control, lockout cylinders and attachment frames.

Utilizing substantial research with industry leaders and technicians, Vanguard Equipment, Inc. developed the CPW 125-4 Series 2 welding package.
