Simple installation
DECKHAND easily mounts to the hydraulic and electrical systems of most excavators using a simple quick connect / coupling system. Operator controls are easily incorporated in the excavator cab, utilizing existing power sources. DECKHAND can be adapted to various sized excavators with a simple adjustment of the attachment pins.
System components consist of:
- Upper and lower heads with mounting beam
- Pipeline Arm
- Directional Drilling Arm
- Utility Arm
Simple operation
DECKHAND is operated using the same controls found in excavators.
Display panel allows operators to monitor and adjust all functions, pressures and flows from inside the cab.
Load sensors give operators clear information on the grab arm grip status as the pipe is moved from point A to point B.
Tilt function provides the versatility to handle pipe in multiple working angles.
Upper and lower head separation allows controlled 360 degree rotation of the pipe load.
